WYou can adjust the calibration values so it reaches the edge a bit further from the physical edge
Poh you don't have to do this manually while calibrating? like with a physical endstop, that's so cool
WYeah so these adjust the physical to logical range of motion. Once the motor(raw_x/raw_y) reaches min/max value windows will see max deflection
Win addition there's the endstops feature, that let's you customize the max deflections in the four quadrants even more

WSo max position is the amount of travel the endstop will engage at, and max power is the amount of power the motors will resist at, you can try 50% power and 50% Max Pos. It should reduce the travel by 5o%
WRescale axes - this will remap axes so that when you reach the endstop, the game/OS will see full travel
Pahh cool, just wasn't sure, yeah looking at it again I see it now, green & red are the + & - % limits & the power is how much power/torque will be used to hold it from 'breaking' through the endstop limit?

Wthose fields are X positive, X negative, Y positive, Y negative. So you can change the endstops based on direction (or quadrant of movement). So for example you can limit pitch down to 50% and have a full pitch-up range.

WYeah, 100% is fine, but in the current version it could start to jump around between endstops if no damping is enabled
WEndstops should feel much improved in the next version
Pso if I have damper, spring etc. set to values on the "Settings" tab what do I need to do with those same settings in the "Effects" tab?
PI have 25% damper set in Settings tab
WIn the Settings those sliders adjust the global gains for that effect class, and in the effects you create an "instance" of that effect, similar how DirectX creates effects in DCS for example.
Pso for my 'global' settings to work I don't need to check the box in the related Effects tab? are totally separate? Sorry I also don't understand what you mean by an 'instance' of the effect, does this mean how much of those effects you will feel from the base when it's told to do so by the game?

WSo yeah, the game can create those effects and Rhino can create them internally too, the sliders in Settings adjust the global "volume" of those effects.
Wso for example if spring in Effects is at 100%, and Spring is zero in settings, then the output will be zero
Pso they need to match in both tabs? settings & effects? other wise settinsg is letting it go to say 30% damper but in tab it's set to 0% so you get no damper effect?
Pso your software reads the game to know when to do these effects?
