BG Music

Hey when making videos I feel like I could add some background music to them but I never know what kind of music to add and in which parts to add it for example when editing me playing a horror game. Could anyone help me out and teach me?

For sure! Now, I don't know A LOT about this, but I could try and give some advice from my past experiences. 1. Find a website, app, or something that has free uncopyrighted music which you can use in your videos. 2. Follow the theme of your video, now when most BIG YouTubers talk they have sound effects and images pop-up relating to what they are saying. But, what you're saying is... when they are playing a horror game, they are most certainly gonna be talking. So, there will probably be a bit of horror themed music playing at a low enough decimal where you can hear the music and the YouTuber. 3. Sometimes when the YouTuber says something "funny" or "important" it would cut-off the game music and music so that the audience can hear the YouTuber loud and clear. This is really all that I have, it really just depends on the type of game and the tone that game sets. Is it a goofy horror game, or is it a REALLY DARK AND SECRET horror game. But yeah, hope this helps you out some. Good luck on your content creating career! -Wizulous

some people will opt for music that matches the mood of the game they are playing, for example in a horror game they will add scary music, another option is using music that makes it more light hearted that may not match the mood of the game being played. Both can work, it depends a lot on what you are going for and the context of the video. And since we're talking about horror games, I think its good if you have background music for most of the time, unless theres some suspense scenes or jumpscares, that is when you fade the music out. Then when its over you can start the music playing again.
