P@walmis I've read the FAQ but still not sure, when it comes to being my turn in line can I customise some aspects at all (with additional funds of course), for me one area of concern is the exposed belts and gears, due to placement in my pit and likelihood of pet hair / dust getting into the mechanism's , I would wish those to be covered, I could make something myself but .....well ya know, in for a penny in for a pound and all that 
, unless there is a reason why they are exposed in the first place maybe ?
Also you state a few motor variations, is there only the one option on the pre made Rhino , the larger optional motors only available for the kits ? sorry to anyone in advance if this post upsets them.

MCorrect, the big motors are only available as kits, the smaller motors are available both ways. I'm in the process of making kits to accompany walmis's kits so people can complete their own bases with basic skills. Here's some screenshots/vid to give an idea of the form factor. VWhat dont you like about it that you would change? Seems pretty ideal unless you wanted to use a shorter extension because the long extension reduces the forces too much?
ROh I like that. I’ve got an extruded aluminum frame and this will work a treat.
MYes, the Rhino works out of the box with Condor 2. You get stick movement with trim, stall buffet and possibly some stick force modulation with speed. But that's it. No speed-brake shake or ground roll/impact rumbles. It's not flashy, but it works.

MThat would be a question for the Condor developers. The Rhino presumably simply takes the force feedback signals from Condor and implements them. I think Walmis was talking about potentially developing some dynamic effects modelling that would read in things like airspeed, g-force etc. that would provide effects to games that didn't have FFB outputs, but that's probably pretty low on the priority list.
FI meant for DCS, I know the Brunner solution seems to have some of those "immersion" effects. My apologies, that was a better question for Walmis.
MAh, right. DCS has all of those, but it's dependent on the module developers which they put in. Am sure there's a thread somewhere in this discord that summarizes which effects are in which modules. The F-14, notably, is really rather lovely and they seem to have put everything in that.

WYes plus the additional features you can adjust - spring, damper, hw trim etc

DGetting into the pit, there is no floor and depending on the height of the extension, it may need to be lower
PI have been bugging ED for years about lack of consistency in FFB implementation, some mods have had better FFB implementation than the official content, and that to me is just sad, as the problem was only understood and felt by a small minority of players I guess they just haven't ever got around to fixing things properly.
GThere also hasn’t been a market for actual ffb sticks …. So a lot of developers probly barely think about it
MYeah we almost need to have a couple of developer rhinos so they can use them and post them around. I bet, apart from heatblur, they've never even used a ffb stick.
MAre you sure about that? Condor 1 is as old as MSFF II and I've been playing it since then, jumping back and forth to real gliders. I haven't played C2 in a long time cause their VR support sucks and instead of fixing it they're working on C3 for years. I remember the effects being pretty good though, definitely loads up with airspeed, airbrake rumble and ground fx for the wheel and even the controls getting moved around in winds on the runway when not in motion.. am I misrembering here?
