Mass Effect Legendary Edition through Heroic

I bought the game on GOG for the winter sales and recently discovered that Heroic might not support it. Can anyone confirm this? And is there any workaround to it? EDIT: Through Epic, not GOG

Yeah I assumed that I could run it through heroic because I have had a good luck before with Linux and heroic with other games, I sure will for games with additional launchers

you can install the EA app in heroic, then install games through that

yes, that wiki page also explains how to link the epic and ea accounts so the games you own in epic show up in the ea app

So I managed to install the EA Launcher, it runs, but the problem is that heroic on the Steam Deck gets installed via Flatpak, so I have yet another issue:
You can't just run legendary out of the box since if you try and run it it won't find all the libraries linked by flatpak, so I think you should do something via flatpak run, can't figure out what though

Something like:

flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl --command /app/bin/heroic/resources/app.asar.unpacked/build/bin/linux/legendary list -T

flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl --command /app/bin/heroic/resources/app.asar.unpacked/build/bin/linux/legendary list -T

flatpak run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl --command /app/bin/heroic/resources/app.asar.unpacked/build/bin/linux/legendary list -T

except this will just open heroic

Documenting for future deck users

Before running legendary you need to use:

flatpak run --command=sh com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl

flatpak run --command=sh com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl

flatpak run --command=sh com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl

flatpak run --command=sh com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl

Then you can use the command found in the guide

So I managed to get the launcher working by simply linking Epic and EA from a windows PC. Now my epic games appear on the EA Launcher
