Sproblem with MSFS: I calibrated the stick in joy.cpl as well as VPConfigurator. However, in MSFS, it thinks the stick is off to the right.

Swhat do you mean? When I release the forced trim button, the stick wants to recenter. Regardless of the special DCS option for the Huey.

Sforce trim does not exist in other airframes. you just trim with dedicated controls
PSome airplanes have only pitch trim and while it is usually (...trying to thing of an exception for fixed wing, but don't know any, so let's say -- pretty much always) operated with a separate control (wheel, or sometimes switches) it might also move the stick into a new pitch "neutral" position. I assume Rhino supports that?
PHey m8, So in something like msfs (you need a 3rd party software to have ffb effects in msfs2020) generally speaking the trim wheel or switch will move the stick to a new 'trimmed position' either forward or back from the center. However most of the 3rd parts apps for ffb in msfs don't have force trim implemented for heli's, this is where you can use the force trim keybind feature from VPforce app. DCS ffb effects depend on the module maker & what they implemented, the Huey & Ka 50 both have 'propper' acting force trim where when you activate the button the stick will loose basically all resistance & once you move it to the desired 'trimmed position' you release the trim button & the stick will stay in the new position as it's center. Other games/sims like IL2 have ffb enabled natively & you also get stick movement with trim. So DCS ffb & trim effects depend on the module unless you use VPforce Telemetry App. MSFS2020 needs a 3rd party app for ffb effects but generally doesn't have force trim for heli's but trim wheels etc. will move the stick in fixed wing. IL2 has good ffb effects all around including stick movement with trim. Basically whatever telemetry can be sent to the RHINO from the sim/game it can turn them into ffb effects.
SThe HUEY is not functioning as you describe. Only the Apache has a functioning trim button. When I release the trim button in the Huey, the stick does not stay where I put it but rather goes back to center.
WDon't do calibration in windows (reset it), Only VPforce app calibration is needed.
HA lot of gliders have a trim button that changes the pitch trim to the position that the stick is in, that's why I'm asking if you can only activate it for one axis.

DNot sure about the Huey, but other Bell helicopters I've flown without autopilot IRL, you only use the force trim while on the ground.

YI'm thinking it's the in dcs setting. Instead of center trim. I just don't play it enough to say
PHey m8, sorry been busy irl. If I enable the constant Force in the effects tab the stick get's pulled to the back right a few degrees, maybe about 10% or so of the total axis movement, this only seems to happen though when I have the end stops enabled. I can post my screenshots of the settings

WIt's used to counterbalance asymmetric weight, such as Virpil Z extension

AFor what it's worth, MSFFB-stick behaves the same. Neutral position is forward from center.
SI'm trying to get a handle on some of the telemetry data DCS is sending out. Some aircraft are different than others. So I downloaded and executed Walmis' wonderful VPForce-TelemFFB github. I installed it and got it to run.
SHere for example is some of the output:
SBut I want to get a 'recording' to compare various aircraft.
SSo I installed teleplot and got it to run as well.
SI know teleplot is working because this command:
Secho "myData:1234" | ncat -u -w5 127.0.0.1 47269 actually results in a chart on a browser window opened to 127.0.0.1:8080 (This is the port that the teleplot server uses.)
S(ncat is the windows version of netcat)
SBut when I start Walmis' FFB-telemetry with this:

SI must be missing something basic and hope someone here can see my mistake-prob a syntax error?

PHey m8 good news is that the RHINO will work out of the box so to say with IL2, IL2 has FFB effects implemented very well including trim moves the stick. What specifically do you need help with m8?

Sif it was a firewall entry blocking teleplot then I wouldnt be able to send it data from the command line using netcat.
SThe hercules mod has no FFB. Prob a shortcoming of the mod that doesnt broadcast telemetry

AI find it curious that this is only the case for me with the A10. This does not occur with the F/A18.
