Pwhile I have your attention & we're talking about this, I think I asked before but it was bought up again recently; would you be able to make a ffb telemetry app for msfs2020 at any point? more asking if it's feasible.

WYeah, there are Python bindings for SimConnect, so no problem there, but you know, work needs to be done 
Pok awesome I thought you said it was doable before. Totally understand that you've got bigger fish to fry before getting to a msfs telem app, but also at the rate you manage to get these sort of things out & the rate of solid updates I'm happy to wait for it

POk so I tested the Blackhawk mod in DCS with the Telemetry App, no surprise the force trim doesn't work & the only real effects I felt were some ground rumble & ETL rumble too. Ran out of time to do more testing but will get report back when I get a chance to do more I especially want to get the force trim working.

JHey there, what would be the setting to make the stick a little "tighter" on the centre. I think I got a decent profile for the F-14 (DCS) but would love to have a more tighter feeling if the stick is centred. All slider movements did not change anything from what I was feeling, so I'm a little stranded.

JThere is one problem, though. In the F-14 is the Y axis out of center most of the time (trim) , which would make the center curve not work, I guess.
Still got my head not wrapped around all the settings. I got induced oscillation fiddeling with the settings, but I think it comes from the sim mostly. With turning periodic down and introducing some dampening I got rid of most of it.
Guess I have to sit down for a day and experiment a little too staring to understand all the settings.

[Hello Walmis, I just got a weird problem after testing the above spring mapping. I am not sure that it is related but it started after changing the spring map but it is still there after resetting the values ...
The problem is related to Force Trim. When I am using the forces trim in the DCS MI24 it have worked perfect until now. Today I saw a problem that I have noticed in the AH64 before but not in the 24. Note that this is only when using the DCS ForceTrim, if I use the VPForce ForceTrim it works as expected.
When I press force trim button and move the stick to new position it works but when I let go of the force trim button it then moves the stick an additional distance in the direction that I moved the stick. This seem to increase the further away from center that I trim the cyclic. Without knowing for sure it seems as it add the same distance from the center as I trimmed. Example: If I push the trim button and move the stick back 5cm in Y, when I then let go of the stick it jumps and addition 5 cm backwards. If I trim the stick and put it on the center it will not move after I release the button ... I hope this all makes sense

[Did some more testing and it seems as it is present in the HUEY as well ... just reversed, mening that the stick is moved back towards the center after i release the Trim button
However, simple fix seem to be to use the VPForce trim function, with forced spring effects turned on, and bind it to the same buttons as in the DCS config and keeping the DCS button config as well. This worked great in the 24, will try the UH1 as well

ADo you have curves setup for the axis in dcs? A non-zero curve causes wonky things with ffb.
[Yes I had curves set up, figured that could be the cause and removed them but did not notice any changes afterwards.
[Tried the Huey and it works great when using the VPForce Trim ... and also the MI8 AND now I can use trim hat function in the HIP and the Huey which I have been missing

[I had never used any of it as well but it was really simple. I searched for GIT and Python and found the installs - ran them and then followed the instructions on the GITHub page
[Only gotcha was that when you install Python I had to click "inclyde python in PATH" ... or something similar on the first install screen of python, for the "PIP Install ... " command to work, I also needed a restart but after that it was a breeze
GOk, but for an absolute software idiot.
WHas there been any updates regarding the expansion of this whole operation? I’m sure there are hundreds of folks waiting to order until the production speeds up. Very happy for Walmis, I’d rather see success out of VPForce over Thrustmaster or Logitech any day.
W…. But I’m really hoping he can get production to a point where he’s shipping a few a day.
FI’m sure he’ll let us know when it changes.

WCould you export your configuration? I'll take a look. Also watch the spring CP value in the debug tab, it should indicate what DCS is setting. Spring mapping shouldn't interfere with trimming
