Hello Walmis, I just got a weird problem after testing the above spring mapping. I am not sure that it is related but it started after changing the spring map but it is still there after resetting the values ...
The problem is related to Force Trim. When I am using the forces trim in the DCS MI24 it have worked perfect until now. Today I saw a problem that I have noticed in the AH64 before but not in the 24. Note that this is only when using the DCS ForceTrim, if I use the VPForce ForceTrim it works as expected.

When I press force trim button and move the stick to new position it works but when I let go of the force trim button it then moves the stick an additional distance in the direction that I moved the stick. This seem to increase the further away from center that I trim the cyclic. Without knowing for sure it seems as it add the same distance from the center as I trimmed. Example: If I push the trim button and move the stick back 5cm in Y, when I then let go of the stick it jumps and addition 5 cm backwards. If I trim the stick and put it on the center it will not move after I release the button ... I hope this all makes sense

Any ideas?

Did some more testing and it seems as it is present in the HUEY as well ... just reversed, mening that the stick is moved back towards the center after i release the Trim button

However, simple fix seem to be to use the VPForce trim function, with forced spring effects turned on, and bind it to the same buttons as in the DCS config and keeping the DCS button config as well. This worked great in the 24, will try the UH1 as well

Do you have curves setup for the axis in dcs? A non-zero curve causes wonky things with ffb.

Yes I had curves set up, figured that could be the cause and removed them but did not notice any changes afterwards.

Tried the Huey and it works great when using the VPForce Trim ... and also the MI8 AND now I can use trim hat function in the HIP and the Huey which I have been missing

Quick question regarding the TelemFFB. What kind of forces should I expect when flying helos? I noticed ETL shake in Huey and the MI8 but not in the 24. Firing guns and rockets works as well , is there any other feedbacks modeled for helos?

I had never used any of it as well but it was really simple. I searched for GIT and Python and found the installs - ran them and then followed the instructions on the GITHub page

Only gotcha was that when you install Python I had to click "inclyde python in PATH" ... or something similar on the first install screen of python, for the "PIP Install ... " command to work, I also needed a restart but after that it was a breeze

Has there been any updates regarding the expansion of this whole operation? I’m sure there are hundreds of folks waiting to order until the production speeds up. Very happy for Walmis, I’d rather see success out of VPForce over Thrustmaster or Logitech any day.

Could you export your configuration? I'll take a look. Also watch the spring CP value in the debug tab, it should indicate what DCS is setting. Spring mapping shouldn't interfere with trimming

Hey there guys, how would I go about adding ffb effects for the free mod Blackhawk? it currently has some but I don't think it has the same as the Huey or Ka 50. I'd like to know anyway how to add extra effects to any aircraft, can I just copy past effects from the config of one aircraft to the other or one I've added like the mod BH? Thanks for the help guys

No worries. The telemetry adds so much, I'm gonna have to dig deeper into it and see what else I can do. First impressions of my first stick flights were freakin amazing though. Game changing for sure.

One parameter I know right away was missing especially in the Hornet was g loading on the stick. I'm sure there's a way to get it setup, but the more g you pull the heavier the stick should get. All fighters have that either physically or hydraulic

in your xpforce Config.xpfc i had to add the axes manually since it crashed anytime i tried to set them in the app. after that, it just works.

Yup, you can mix in the settings for damper, inertia etc. into the game. Just set them in the configurator to your liking and they will be applied in game too.

So in effects tab those are like augmented effects, that work if the game doesn't set them. And also additional stuff like endstops. In the settings tab, those sliders are global "volume" controls. So if the game has annoying rumble, etc, you can tune down those separately.
