Thank you. I didn't think to search. I should have went to bed hours ago and I'm neck deep in to Rhino videos, measuring how it will fit my rig and all
Hey @xupicor, So the last Shipped RHINO is #0059 on 2023-03-02 Average waiting time from preorder to shipped is 140 days, median is 177 days, max is 209 days 56 Rhinos are shipped in total
Not sure about Condor 2 but for MSFS2020 I just use XPForce software it works well enough, until Walmis makes a msfs telem app like the dcs one . Trim moves the stick you get AoA & stall buffeting & other general effects.
My MSFFII works without XPForce quite well in Condor and Condor2, they've always had great native FF implementation. Never hooked anything to the rudder axis but there's a checkbox for it in the menu. Now if only they weren't such curmudgeons about supporting VR and didn't disable AA in the graphics >_>
If anyone is on the fence about XPForce for MSFS it also works quite well.. like good enough I forget that extra layer is even there since you start the sim by launching that app.
I must be the only one that doesnβt like xpforce in msfs2020 with the rhino. Some of the effects are fine, but if I pitch up, I get large forces pitching me up even more. Same for pitching down. I tried lowering some of the settings but it didnβt fix things. These forces arenβt realistic imo. As for condor 2 and DCS, I love the native ffb support and everything works great without xpforce or any other 3rd party software.
You can tweak those forces using "Constant Force" slider in VPforce.
Those forces simulate moving the control surfaces into the air stream, so if you have high AoA, your pitch neutral force would be somewhat back. XPforce tries to simulate that, but the strength of that effect might be off.
@pinksht how did you configure msfs2020 and xpforce to get the trum to move your stick? If I use alternate trim, the stick moves in opposite direction of the trim but only in the sim. The rhino doesn't move
Hey m8, sorry I was doing an ARMA 3 Op. I don't think I really had to change any settings for xpforce to work the trim properly. I'll try jump on tomorrow & see

Hi, I checked the faq. But still have some questions. How long is the wait list if i buy it now. What i need to buy to have a ready to go cyclic? The ffb kit + rhino base?
Hey m8, The RHINO Base is a ready to go force feedback base & has a wait list atm, the motor kits are available to be posted out within a few days, the motor's in the kits are specially selected by Walmis to work as FFB along with his USB PCB. The base will work out of the box with Thrustmaster & Virpil grips Walmis has adapters for Winwing & VKB grips, the base is compatible with extensions but it is not as necessary as other bases due to the RHINO having a massive throw length.
Yeah basically you have two routes: you can get a motor kit and DIY the mechanics/gimbal/etc. or wait for the finished RHINO base. The wait list is pretty long, could be a year of wait.
