Ubisoft Connect has detected an unrecoverable error

After logging in to Ubisoft Connect it crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled Ubisoft Connect. I tried to repair the Anno 1800 Trial. All didn't work. Interestingly when I have Ubisoft Connect open (and am logged in) and start the game it closes UConnect and opens it again, but I need to log in again. And then it crashes as soon as I press "login"

I don't want to reinstall the trial version, my internet speed is abysmal.
