MDid you flip the top plate of your Virpil gear to get the connector at the bottom? 
AYou can basically just unbolt the sides and flip. Usually requires intentionally positioning the cable around and through stuff to get it to route properly, but pretty easy overall
U@walmis do you have any plans to expand manufacturing capacity / turn this in to a more "serious" business?

WI just tried XPforce and MSFS for the first time. I don't seem to be getting any real effects once in the air. I expected the stick to tighten when going fast, and become slack during a stall. But nothing. What am I missing ? I feel lots of wheel vibrations on the ground.
Sis xpforce supposed to do that?
WI don't know! I would have thought it could. The Brunner software looks at airspeed and changes tension based on it. I assumed this might do similar. Otherwise what actually DOES it do ?? Currently mine only reacts on the ground. Once airborne there is nothing...
FIt could if vpforce supported telemetry from msfs I would assume.
WTurns out it was conflicting with the VJoy driver. Uninstalled and now it works.
WHowever it is a bit odd in the way it works. Not really like I had hoped.
WWhat’s the chance someone can write the same as the DCS script for msfs??
WI also notice slight cogging with these motors. I thought they would be completely smooth. Is there anything that can be done? This is with the 86BLF04 btw.
WInterestingly, when I had the motors on the bench and just used a shifter on the shaft directly they were silky smooth. Is it due to them now being geared? And the motor having to rotate 1+ times ?

WActually the opposite. Seems to be more pronounced when moving slow

PHuh, where are you based? Outside EU? FedEx brings US to mind. It's possible FedEx paid customs fee or something like that on your behalf and you got the notice only now.
Fif it's over a certain dollar mount, that's normal and always has been.
W35$ is peanuts compared to if you import anything to EU, instant 21% tax
DIn the US, anything over $800 gets a 3% import tax added to the entire value.
DI'm really curious how do you not get your left leg calf caught when that gear moves?

Anever even come close to being an issue
A(also worth noting -- normally my feet are extended further out cause of pedals, also i intentionally angled them inwards a bit more to show a more extreme situation, and it's still not even close to being an issue -- maaaybe if you had extremely baggy pants or something)
Anot sure how clear it is -- but it's pretty out of the way from my pants, also, the large gear doesn't actually rotate that far on a full forward/backwards deflection
Alike -- not even a full 360 on the large top gear
Aso even if it did grab something, it's not like it's gonna wind it up

Ai'll be honest tho -- when i initially ordered this, i did have concerns about how it might fit on the chair, and i was worried i would have to build something custom, turns out none of that was required and it's worked like a charm
Dcurrently my warthog joystick base is clamped to my desk and then goes between my legs, I don't have a chair cutout, so for me with my current chair I'd need to replace it.
