VI just moved from that grip to the f16 grip, the f16 brings a lot more to the table and the f18 is only useful for simulating an authentic harrier / f18 experience

PIs there somewhere I can see the fan rpm? I never hear my fans going, I do use a noise canceling headset. I saw my temps @38° for X & a little less for Y axis last night & it just got me wondering.
P@walmis I also had a funny thing happen with the base after playing DCS for a bit, I was in the dcs main menu & was moving the stick to feel the endstops, that's when the motor gave a sort of 'shudder' or 'vibration' the base gave out a series of rapid beeps then the motors cut out, this repeated I think twice I then unplugged the base as I was finishing up with dcs anyway. I was wondering if this was due to overheating maybe? the temps I mentioned above were only early on during use & I didn't see what they got up to.
DSame thing with me. But I was messing with all manner of things at the time, no idea what caused it

AWhat does "FWD" mean on the restrictor plates actually mean, towards or away from the big red button? Also what's the official name for the sort of screws you need to unscrew to get the dust cover off?

TQuestion for those with the 86BLFXX motor kits, what are you using to mount these? The mounting holes are 5.5mm diameter, are you tapping M6 or using a through hole fastener?
AWhat is the signifigance of FWD in the restrictor plates? If someone for example wants less travel forward but has the base mounted backwards, can he just set FWD to point towards what is forwards for him or do the plates always need to be installed in a specific direction and need to be ordered "backwards"?
Phey m8, I don't have a restrictor plate atm so take what I say with a pinch of salt, but if the screw holes line up I'd assume it wouldn't matter what orientation your base is, if the FWD plate will fit & line up at the front then it should be fine, just do a calibration after & you should be fine

TYou are right about the screw holes but if you had an asymmetric restrictor plate, you’d want to calibrate without the plate and then apply the plate. Otherwise your stick will be centered in the restrictor plate and no longer asymmetric.
