Fthat's fully forward and a weird angle, it's not bad at all. Not managed to take a photo showing it with decent perspective that doesn't show way too much of my living room though

AAnd my Rhino isn’t much far off, so I’m trying to figure out how best to mount it
FThe actual@base of the stick is around an inch higher than my legs - it is a lot of throw with this extension though

AIt's actually Grip -> Adapter -> blackbox
Athere is no electrical connection between the adapter and the Rhino base
Athe wiring comes out of the adapter

NSo I assume that sits between the Rhino and grip, does that mean you have two USBs for the PC (blackbox and Rhino base) and then a power cable for the base?

NFor example if I were to configure it in DCS, would the Rhinos axis and the grips button inputs be two different devices or the same unit
Ayou have two separate devices, but there's a loopback app that allows the VPForce configurator to see the buttons on the grip
Ain DCS you have the VKB stick and the Rhino base separately
Ayou can still use vkb software to configure the grip

Awell the vkb thing is in competition for my least favorite software of all time

NI don’t really use any of the standalone softwares, I usually just configure what I need in the games I use it in
AIIRC the issue was that Walmis wasn't able to decode the VKB grip's protocol so using the blackbox was the only option
Avirpil and TM are directly compatible, winwing adapter talks to the Rhino base and VKB needs the blackbox in addition to the adapter
