i have a vector with the direction the scroll wheel is moving in

my system takes the callbacks and converts it into a system where you can use an if statement

i made a function called GetScrollDirectionGetScrollDirection and it returns the value of the vector but if the callback isnt being called then the vector is just left as the last direction it was in

and i cant just change it back to 0,00,0 because how do i know if the user has actually stopped touching the scroll wheel or if its a glitch

there are some steps to enable debugging in the OpenGL api

that'll give you a much more detailed error, like which line in the shader is the problem. Lots of documentation out there to get that set up.

its not a problem with the actual shader because the shader is the one ive been using for a while without changing it, its the same vertex shader from the quad tutorial

I'm attempting to build a directx renderer, but after setting everything up for a basic rectangle on screen I'm getting a device removed error with the reason DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR
specifically here:

tldr is if you use the managed Chain classes they have IChain interfaces which inherit from the interfaces for prefixes of the chain

my use case was building an ImageCreateInfo out of a SwapchainCreateInfo so i can pass the ICI to my image abstraction to extract the metadata for the wrappers over the swapchain images
