PI can't wait to play with this stick, this MSFFB2 has served me 20 odd years , so long my old reliable friend

RHow you going to mount it ? I got the monster tech plate but not sure it’s going to work for my pit. Awaiting a new cable before I cut my cyclic down and install.
JI've got a TrakRacer TR120 cockpit and I plan to add additional aluminum profile to the bottom to create a place below, that I will then bolt the monster tech mount to. If I need it, I'll add additional profiling to have fully support the length of the monstertech mount as well. Doing it this way, + using a 200mm extension, I measured it should be comfortable enough without getting in the way of anything else.
J🧰support I think this setup by Vulcan is quite similar to what I want to do. I will have mine further away from the chair mount, and possibly lower (because the frame of my cockpit is deeper being 120x40 not 40x40/80x40)

RThat’s more than likely what ill do. But if I could the rhino closer to the floor so I don’t need to trim my cyclic extension as much would be nice. Does a right angle 8040 piece exist.
JYou could emulate a monstertech mount for right angle - have a short piece go down vertically, and have another piece attach to that horizontally
JFor info, my cockpit is raised off the ground with caster wheels which give a good 3 inch clearance from the very bottom of the frame. So I have 3 whole inches below the cockpit frame with which to have 8040 to put my rhino on top of
DI am eager to see how guys are mounting these. I currently have a TM and have a Virpil CM3 on back order. I have a Foxx Mount plate to go from TM to Virpil mount.
DI am assuming the bottom of the Rhino is solid, correct?
Ji have my chair very raised on the chair mount, so from the very bottom of my cockpit frame to the top of the bucket part of the seat is a good 16 inches (or 406.4mm)

RCurrently how it’s connected with virpil. The rhino needs to sit flush on the floor and connect to cross beam I’ll cut and place on the floor attached to bottom
JThe more I dig the deeper I go down a rabbit hole of things not actual 8020 profiling to allow for right angles
JLooking at the pic the Rhino will definitely be a little taller

JWould something like that work perhaps? You could even have the vertical part mount underneath the floor part you have on top of the frame on the other side of where you have the cyclic currently, then you could have extra room with which to make the rhino flush with the cockpit

PI have two, both have been converted to have the CH Fighterstick Pro Grip/handle on them, one being a shaft extension version as well, no idea, I guess I will sell one of them, and keep one as a backup, the one pictured retains the twist rudder whilst the other version with the extended handle does not.

CI might convert it (the old MSFFB2) to 3D printed grip like a B8 or Spitfire or KG12. I was wondering if I could convert it to pulleys/gears for my rudder. That’d be pretty cool
