You're right, it doesn't add any desktop shortcuts (that's good). It adds /usr/lib/systemd/system/cpupower.service/usr/lib/systemd/system/cpupower.service service but not sure if it's on by default or what it does.

Btw @j0rge on a different subject, I have a solution for your idea of a "distrobox native" terminal which just immediately goes into the correct distrobox.

I set it up in Tilix. You can do it in any terminal that supports profiles and commands.

Just create a terminal profile named "distrobox-arch", set the command to your "distrobox enter arch" stuff.

Then create ~/.local/share/applications/distrobox-arch.desktop~/.local/share/applications/distrobox-arch.desktop (base it on Tilix's own desktop file, give it a name like "Tilix (Arch)", which runs tilix --profile=distrobox-archtilix --profile=distrobox-arch.

Me too. A terminal that supports distroboxes and knows how to enter them automatically. Windows kinda has that, damnit. They have Windows Terminal where you have a tabbed interface, a "+" symbol with a dropdown for Ubuntu, Powershell, etc.

I got as far as flatpak run dev.boxi.Boxi --helpflatpak run dev.boxi.Boxi --help and seeing the -c <name>-c <name> flag to enter a named container, which calls the toolbox binary as '['flatpak-spawn', '--host', 'toolbox', 'run', '--container', '<name>', 'env', '-0']''['flatpak-spawn', '--host', 'toolbox', 'run', '--container', '<name>', 'env', '-0']'. I think we're supposed to figure that out and make our own .desktop.desktop files for each container. So not much better than manual Tilix profiles like I've done.
