where to advertise
In your experience, before content is put on a new YouTube channel, where should I advertise it to gain subs?

Spread it around discords and related reddits
Surprisingly at least in some subs that I've seen reddit mods don't automatically delete youtube links so you can try there too
What reddits would you reccomend???
Subreddits related to the game your posting for example posting a persona 5 review in the r/megaten sub or the advertisement subs like
R/advertise YouTube
Just be careful. Most subreddits worth posting on don't appreciate blatant self-promo. You're more likely to garner a lasting audience with a community you're genuinely apart of rather than one you only visit to self-promo with.
