how do you actually grow on twitch

I’ve tried to do twitch on and off for a long time, I’m gonna buckle down and try to make and grow a channel, what are the actual strategies to do, I’m not too worried about getting famous or whatever but I’d like to grow a community, because it seems fun, how do I go about actually doing that?

All about consistency with streaming and interacting with the community Until your big enough to not care anymore I'd say treat the community like friends have back and forth convos with them remember regulars names and welcome them back when they join in your stream (they love that) and have a clear mic An alternate way is to just be really good at the game/art your playing if that's what your doing having unique and high octane high energy streams usually keeps people interested

I think the big start is getting attention. For example, everyone could be cool but if there's only one person or zero in the chat, then sometimes you'll get nothing because nobody knows you'll read what they have to say, or reply at a consistent basis. I genuinely think some games like devil may cry, or newly bundled or released games could get you attention, but at the end of the day it's wholly up to people who interact with you and it helps. Getting people to shout you out, and truly vouch for you has helped me more than anything, as well as a specific server that has actually helped and encouraged others to give my channel a look. We can all tell you we do this thing or that thing, or that we read chat or care about our viewers or post the highest quality stream possible but people need to be able to see it, and very many places seem to forbid that part of it all. Find someone who will actually shout you out, give you love, vouch for you. So that their community will give you a look, and push you up in terms of visibility, give you some stuff to clip and highlight, so passerbys can at least have something to look at if the chat is not up.
