Is the only way to insert some key/values into the dev KV store via code? Or is it possible to run in dev mode but point at the Cloudflare KV store?

can do that, it runs the dev worker remotely which is slower but it can then access remote resources

Thanks @Erisa | Out of office I tried doing that but couldn't work out how to start up in dev mode with a different URL to the site name if that makes sense as the worker is designed for a specific route

another wrangler question: i'm still waiting (3 days later) for an edge certificate to be verified and until then, I can't use https... I tried setting

Dead in the water here with Wrangler 3.0.1. I am running wrangler pages dev and when I try to open a browser page on http://127.0.0.1:8788, I get

My recommendation would be to file an issue at https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues if there’s not one already and then downgrade to wrangler 2 for now.

why does the behavior of worker endpoint changes when you make it as api like approach using itty-router? for example when im just using a simple fetch, it works as it is, but when change it to route style api using itty-router, i am encountering a preflight cors error..

I've upgrade to wrangler 3.0.1, and I'm stuck with a bug fixed 2 weeks ago ( https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/issues/3262#issuecomment-1564106293 ), but I don't known if the 3.0.0 have fixed it in 3.0.1 or if we still need to wait until a 3.0.2 to include this bugfix ?

EDIT: I've misread the post, it's not yet fixed, should be fixed soon

It's your browser that decides if it'll require CORS or not so you can check your requests against https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CORS#simple_requests

technically, you can use the api, but some features are not documented apis, so in theory they might change stuff that breaks your workflows - and some things add shims that you'd have to add manually :/
so while you don't have to, I recommend you use it for most cases

How many secrets are you trying to deploy out of interest? That looks like a pretty hard error in the API

Okay yeah that's quite a few - each secret technically creates a brand new deployment right now. You might file an issue at https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk, but with API issues like this it's gonna be hard to reproduce and resolve I imagine
