this depth buffer thing does remind me that my library doesn't actually support setting the depth buffer at all

ill have to implement it in literally the worst way possible thanks to opengl being opengl but its better than nothing

yea my engine entirely renders to a separate framebuffer so i can just disable the default depth buffer
