looks like item count is limited per plan - https://developers.cloudflare.com/rules/url-forwarding/#availability

i mean, you can add subdomains. Serving

on index for a subdomain would probably need like proxying

I see. Thanks. Seems this should be made more clear elsewhere (would have saved me a lot of time, as I now konw that bulk redirects essentially won't work for my needs).

had hit to 2000 limit in Pages... had thought that Bulk Redirects was the "overflow" solution

form this (https://answers.netlify.com/t/max-number-of-redirects/5095/2) i learned that having a number in the thousands can negatively impact performance... makes sense but I never considered this previously.
