Sometimes, cloudflare pages + next.js turns out to be quite bad.
I am using clerk authenication and have a signout button.
On click of signout, it should redirect to signin page, but cloudflare get stucked without any errors.
On vercel same thing works fine.

Happy to share minimal reproducible code if anyone want to test out

figured out the issue, need to add it the cloudflare page using the custom domains section first, then change it to point to the branch you want in dns settings

The only way to use a dynmaic site is using functions

You can't run flask on pages. You would need to rewrite whatever you are doing in Flask to use functions

Cloudflare Pages is for static content (HTML, CSS, JS, images and other such files). It will not run a webserver such as Express, Koa or the likes. If you're using those to serve static content then you can just remove that part and use Pages!

If you're doing more dynamic content you can use Functions (https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/platform/functions). It will run code on request (so still not a webserver in the conventional sense). This would allow for more dynamic content though especially with KV (Key Value storage) and Durable Objects (transactional data storage). Functions are natively integrated with Pages so are super easy to get up and running along your website.
Otherwise, a good old VPS or dedicated server from one of the many hosts out there is for you.

There is no native way to do that, you could download them from somewhere else during the build process, but that seems very overcomplicated.
For environment variables, you shouldn't be uploading a

.env

.env

file anyway. You should be setting those in the build configuration.

You can use direct upload to upload a .zip file and have it use that. This .zip file should be your build output, since no build step is ran on it. You can also upload it with wrangler

hi guys - sorry if this is a duplicate - I've got an existing account with an existing pages deployment from github. I'd like to add another, but when I go into the Connect with Git section, it shows the correct account, but only shows a single repository available that is already in use, even though there are several repos in that account. Am I supposed to be able to add more than 1 pages application?

You could possibly hack something together that pushes to a remote cache and pulls it on deployment, etc. but likely more effort than it's worth when caching will come eventually
