Sneaker suggestion for traveling?

I’m going to be traveling to multiple European countries for 2 weeks which will involve a lot walking. Any suggestions for sneakers that are both stylish and comfortable? Thanks!

New Balances are my fav sneakers for walking around while traveling. I've done 15 mile days in them and they've been super comfy

Unfortunately allbirds don’t fit the pitch of being stylish NB is the go to, hoka and Salomon are supposed to be good too, I know a lot of people wear pretty much only hoka

I wear hoka a lot while traveling Benefits of allbirds are lightweight, comfortable, breathable, and inoffensive If you’re going to be packing hoka it’s annoying because the soles are so chunk Allbirds take up very little room in my bag @irix22 r/onebag has a lot of good travel shoe recs

Benefits of allbirds being listed as "inoffensive" 🤔

I feel as though you are projecting some personal values onto the original poster, the two qualities asked after are comfort and style

I need sock trainers to come back because Ultraboosts were the most incredibly comfortable things.

I suspect that you’d probably want more support over a long period of walking but yeah comfy to throw on for a grocery trip for sure

Some days I can’t decide which allbirds I want to wear and I say fuck it, both

I bought some for work. They’re a little ugly but very comfortable. But they are not at all durable. The wool at the heel wears awfully.

I don’t doubt their utility but I am a slave to beauty And there are comfortable and good looking options

As someone who has allbirds I completely agree.

some people like the way they look, not gonna say who though and yes, they wear out pretty quickly which is something to consider

I travel a lot and usually just wear some old skools. Can’t go wrong imo.

i would say it is up to OP if they are stylish or not as he is the one who asked the question. i am offering my recommendation based on personal travel experiences and i felt as though they fit his criteria. comfort and style are subjective and for me allbirds tick those boxes

Thanks for the recs! Not a huge fan of allbirds but I showed them to my friend who’s going with me and he really likes them!

Shouldn't be legal to have a Stereolab username and wear allbirds 😔 I'd def recommend New Balances, my 993s served me well in a very similar trip
