Can't remember in which configurator version, perhaps since the 1.0.15, It checks windows registry for Rhino calibration and auto-clears it if found. Helps to avoid undefined behaviour like this.

So the pot is the black dial on top of the base correct? How do you activate function #2? is the pot supposed to click or lift up to a second position?

The FF runs the screen constantly, the FD, FB, and F7 are the 3 button presses that are not otherwise captured

Function #2 is tied to a second pot. I don't believe the Rhino ships with one, but the controller board is wired for one

It is.. I have the built-in shake effects disabled on the Spitfire, using TelemFFB in stead. You can see it in the joystick profile if you change from defaults.
