Once a project is created, then you cannot attach it to a GitHub/GitLab repo. You have to create a new project, then connect it there

As far as documented APIs go, you can create a project via the API, but you cannot connect it to a Github repository.

I don't think so. If you don't want to inspect the Network tab directly, then you would have to reverse the Dashboard browser bundle, which would take a while.

I have a cloudflare pages app (remix app) that uses KV. Using wrangler 3.5.1

When running locally wrangler pages dev ./public --kv STOREwrangler pages dev ./public --kv STORE i would like to:

access my production KV values

pre populate the local sqlite db with values from my production KV

With my previous wrangler version 2.20.0 i could not use the production KV when running locally but i could populate a local KV with production values just by writing json to .wrangler/state/STORE/:id.wrangler/state/STORE/:id. Is there an equivalent way to do that with wrangler 3.x sqlite? Or more ideally to use the production data from the remote KV?

Out of curiosity, when visitors request a page for my site (which is running on Pages), is the response built from data in the internal KV store every time or are responses cached as well? I'm sure the difference is a negligible <1ms, but I was pondering.

I'm not sure the high-level details of how Pages works are documented anywhere (although perhaps Workers Sites was at one point).

For our cloudflare cache in our worker, do we need to take into account the "Accept-Encoding" header of the request? Our worker passes on the "Accept-Encoding" header, to any requests that it makes, and then streams the body back to the original request, while caching it.

If we return something that is gzip or brotli compressed, that means it's being cached in that form right, so we'd need to ensure that "Accept-Encoding" header is part of the caching key? Is that correct?

It could also mean that the site they came from had the “noreferrer” flag set on the link, so the browser omitted the referer header - these can’t always be tracked

That's also true. But again that's more suppressing the symptoms rather than the cause, that being there's no manual deployment button in the UI OR the fact that there is some issue with the automatic deployments preventing it from running
