VI'd prefer to run as many packages as I can via nix instead of distrobox, precisely because they avoid the container overlay, but I was able to get the theming/cursor issues to be consistent between bazzite and apps in a fedora container by basically installing kde on the container using
sudo dnf groupinstall "KDE Plasma Workspaces" That may be overkill though.VI'd certainly like to get the cursor to work with straight nix on bazzite, but I'm not sure what I need to install for that. I've tried a bunch of things, but nothing's worked so far.
Kyou can also add /usr/share/icons and /usr/share/themes as volumes to distrobox

When using the new flakes interface, e.g. nix profile, the nixpkgs configuration in ~/.config/nixpkgs/config.nix is ignored due to hermetic evaluation, so, e.g. it is not clear to me how to install...
