Which sim? (FS2020 TelemFFB/XPforce?) Also settings look not very optimal. You can load a good baseline profile from configs/RHINO-defaults.vpconfconfigs/RHINO-defaults.vpconf Otherwise everything looks ok (no motor faults, etc). You can also show the Debug tab content.
loaded default profile , but now my brake lever on the joystick does not work anymore and i cannot set it up again...Unfortunately i have to stop testing now
hello, my rhino has just arrived and I have stumbled at the first hurdle. When trying to apply the stick setting on the web interface or checking the firmware I get the follow error. I have also restared the pc, removed the rhino from device manager multiple times, no joy unfortunately. Have disconnected and closed every other device/program as well
This bug happens in Win11 with the current firmware. Managed to make a one-liner workaround, but should be fixed in the upcoming firmware release. Open up a PowerShell window as Administrator and paste the following
No I have not, but if I quit dcs instantly the stick moves back due to spring effect. If I press fly to reload the mission. Ffb is back and works until it quit again.
The last hour I was not using the dcs multithreading version. No problems at all. Joystick is working fine. So I will continue with the normal dcs version and hope that I will not have problems on longer flights too. Thank you @_slowmover for your help.
do you guys ever have issues where DCS seems to boot up with broken ffb support, like, maybe it kinda works, but not really, and you have to quit and re-launch DCS to fix it?
why did you have to re-orient your rhino base when you attached the z-extension? In order to have the stick as close as possible to my seat, I was planning to mount the rhino with the buttons forward and invert the axes.
For me, with the Z extension, it was TOO far back as you describe. Z extension and buttons nearest me works perfectly now. Of course, your set up may be different, I have limited space in front due to my centre MPCD
when using a Virpil grip with the Rhino base, I'm assuming that the Virpil software can no longer be used to customize the grip? With the Virpil software I created button presses at the end of the travel on each axis on the thumb stick, so that it can also work as a hat. Will I lose this functionality when connecting to the Rhino?
