did you set up your external drives to auto
-mount
?
K
Kyle Gospo
•
9/12/23, 9:42 PM
you typically do that by adding them to
/etc
/fstab

steam will not auto mount drives
, only on the deck
, and only SD cards

I recommend
/mnt
/drive

Oooh I see okay I thought it just automatically recognises them
I
’ve done the whole fstab shabang a few times but chimera recognised my drives without fstab so I thought Bazzite might be similar

I
'm not aware of that being a feature in chrimera

both gnome and KDE
's partition managers can edit fstab for you
K
Kyle Gospo
•
9/13/23, 7:33 PM
just have to set up auto mounting through them

fstab is the best way
, imo
, for a permanent disk
