i managed to mess up bazzite a few times (kinda) on my laptop but thats more thanks to the uefi on the laptop being weird with linux in general
bazzite was the first ever linux i had to enable secure boot for to even have it boot (it booted fine until i signed the image)
had to literally enable secure boot --> install bazzite --> sign image --> import keys --> everything works
without secure boot on my laptop would just boot into a black screen after signing the system
