Soh your have that f15 cockpit right? how are you going to integrate the motors? bellcranks on those shafts that come thru the floor?
FYeah, it's either going to be bellcranks or rack & pinion. The fact that the system can do multiple revolutions is what sold me on it.
Sit can, but you have to have it centered when you power it up

Si assume the shaft coming thru the floor only makes a partial rotation right? so you'd want that sweep angle to do a full rotation on the motor
FThe pitch & roll controls have a very short throw to them - only a few inches either direction. Did you see the photo I posted of the current stick centering system I'm using?

HSo, I just tried the default option, and it completely disables FFB for me
HI can hear the trim clicking in cockpit, but there's zero FFB and the stick goes slack once it's set for default

HActually, I take that back. Restarting DCS seems to have fixed that
HOkay, I can't see any functional difference between the default instant trim and stick with no springs/FFB at first glance
NDCS has been doing that from time to time lately. It just refuses to start FFB and requires a restart.

Nagain.. you'll have to ask the developers what the difference is. All I know is that "instant"/"default"/"instant(ffb friendly)" works for all modules. "joystick without springs and ffb" seems to work on Mi24 and AH64, but does not work on MI-8 or UH-1 (don't have the Ka)
FIs there a way to run the Rhino with Windows XP Professional SP3? Currently I get the error message "VPForce is not a valid win32 application".
AAre the Winwing and VKB adaptors interchangable? ie can you order them both and change them at will?
WWhoa, that's ancient. The app is 64bit exe, so will not work on 32bit Windows.
FOK, I will run the app on my laptop with 64bit for setup the rhino. Can I run the Rhino "standalone" (without app) on WinXP/FS9 afterwards? (all settings of my Simpit are WinXP based and I am quite happy with the system)
WYeah, once you store the configuration the app is not required.

WOut of the box - no, but it's possible to port it
NI don’t even fly the Apache (yet)..but I have a feeling this is going to end up on my collective when it’s available. Will require some minor changes (to my collective base) to account for the length of the grip.

The company gave us access to 3 teaser pics of the upcoming collective for the Apache.

BThis is what I said on the Noobifier hardware channel about the new Virpil grip: "It's slightly infuriating how they seem to've intentionally left the collective base out of focus. That's my main question about it -- are they making a new base with a shorter tube so that the whole thing isn't so long?"
I may stick with my Hawk grip. It's pretty nice, albeit without the backlighting (other than on one button).

The Komodo TEDAC has been on pre-order for some time, but this is the first time we have seen photos of the product.
AKomodo is top of the line prices, bottom of the barrel quality
ADon’t even think about touching that crap. Paid over £500 for a B8 cyclic and base only to find out that the rubbish was lower quality than my old Saitek X52
NYeah..I saw the concerns about the length/weight of the Apache grip relating to their current collective bases. Not a concern for my VPforce FE Collective though 
Fstuff looks like it has been 3d printed with some average materials but costs like injection molded stuff or even more.
