Issues with Wrangler remote-mode dev

a very basic question...I understand the previous method now considered legacy of how to create a backup and then download a backup. What is the replaced method that is supposed to be performed now? I am looking to add a new column (stored) for user settings. And my plan was to download the current users table, deleted it, then add the new column and insert all the data. (this is a practice area so only 10 users)

I see a section on how to import data in the documenation, I see the legacy tab on how to download data (which will not work with beta only alpha) and i see the time travel backups area documentation tab that says how to see different bookmarks and restore bookmarked time travel...but not seeing how to download the data or table set up...ideas?

thanks, and yikes...at a minimum probably should be added all the documentation links I referenced that there is no replacement solution to download a back up for beta from either command line or dashboard...i can't be the first person that circled around and around this for an hour

The "new" backend which has been the default and only really supported option for quite some time now limits depths of queries to 20. You basically need to create queries that do not go over that limit.

I hit this same error a while back, and after a lot of digging I could not for the life of me figure out how expression depth was calculated, whether my query had a depth of 21 or 121, or any useful information about how to decrease depth. I ended up splitting the query into two separate queries instead of using a common table expression (an ordinary CTE, not a recursive one even), and the error went away. Cloudflare devs at the time sounded open to increasing the max depth (default sqlite is set at like 1000 or something), but again I couldn't say what number I would need! So all that to say...

Our goal is within the next week. I strongly suggest you refactor how you are performing your joins in the meantime if you need to unblock yourself. The current limit isn’t high but we’ve rarely had folks run into it so directly.
