heroic launcher chivalry 2 steam deck
When I load up says theres no authorisation and when I try run it in desktop it did previously had an error with the anti cheat when I ran it in the extra text so I’ve removed it now no error but nothings changed?
New to Linux so not sure how to extract the error codes I’ll try post it underneath

useSteamRuntime isn't the name of the setting you'll find in heroic
it's the variable name in the program, but it will be similar in the GUI

that can mean a few things, so here it is more clearly
don't remove the prefix line in Heroic, leave that alone
delete the folder in the prefix folder
that should not effect the installed game files unless the install folder is within the prefix folder, which would be very wrong anyway

it looks like it might be a bug? i don't know
try rebooting your steamdeck, going back to desktop mode, and seeing if that option is still on
your pictures are showing it as being checked, therefore on. the log is showing it as being set to false, therefore off and unchecked

I did also try load in a game in desktop mode it failed to find a game within a 1:15 they usually through you in games within seconds so not sure if that also has an effect

Still don’t work in game mode
Desktop I went thru the servers to find a game but registers as k/m not a controller so that was an epic fail hahs

I added heroic launcher as a non steam game and launched it thru game mode to load the game in
I mean I think I’ve got it to all work with some controller settings just some the controls need to figure out as they are motion based but thank you both!!
