Can 't open Cars on Heroic launcher Steam Deck
I had it working before but idk what changed. I don't remember changing any of my settings relating to it but now it doesn''t want to open.

Error: getaddrinfo EAI_AGAIN lutris.net
lutris.net (which we use to download some components required for the game)

you might want to not use your ISP's dns and instead use one of the google or cloudflare ones

how do I change it
i feel like i messed something up because now i can't log into epic games

changing dns depends on your os really.. just follow the directions for your os
dns isnt a heroic setting

some games need to reach out to the internet to verify, and heroic also needs to reach out to the internet to get certain files to run some games.. if your internet connection isnt properly configured, you will have trouble gaining access to those things.

yeah haha dns simply turns names like lutris.net into ip addresses so you can load the webpage or other content.. so like if its messed up, and doesnt return the right ip for the site, then stuff breaks and can be inconsistently broken (some things work some things dont)

Thing is I did change my DNS in the desktop mode and it hasn't opened the game after I launch it

thing is you arent the one that changes it typically, your isp does
so did you try going to lutris.net?

So it launches on chrome on desktop mode (the website)
But the game still crashes

It says to fix it I need to download a flat pack / app image from CI but idk what that means
So I was able to launch the game on desktop mode just fine. But not in gaming mode

when that issue happens, the game runs, you can hear it but you can't see it (the loading screen is never removed), it sounds like a different problem than that
