Mmmhh not sure if it'll be cheaper for me then. My current way is generating and storing 4 variants of the image on R2, only this solution is waay to slow. R2 is pretty slow with uploading, for some reason.
Currently have about 6.000.000 images (with each having 4 variants) stored on R2. Only reason I would consider changing to image resizing, is to get rid of having the user wait before the upload is completed of the 4 variants.
