I had a similar issue before when I just purchased the pro plan, I think it happens if your billing is not yet accounted for by Cloudflare

Hey! I'm using an IntersectionObserver to play and pause videos in a website and I noticed some very slow loading times when 3-4 videos are triggered in a short amount of time. Is it linked to R2? Does it has limitations, download speed or concurrent download caps? I see pending requests in the network tab for the additionally loaded videos.

We don’t intentionally slow downloads down and there is no cap. Are you noticing the TTFB being really long then?
Have you tried configuring the CF Cache on your domain? That would be the easiest way to improve things.

CR does not have a free tier
CR is priced based on tiers, not per-operation: https://www.cloudflare.com/products/cache-reserve/, which means that while you’re paying $4.86, you’ll pay the same if you made a million writes and 10 million reads

Sorry to dig this up... but running into this again with a different user now. They make 5 API calls (no others in the last 5 minutes) and they are met with the rate limit error (no other API tokens or API usage on their account). If Cloudflare has secondary API rate limits on certain IPs or IP blocks, maybe I need to build a Worker to proxy their API requests through? Doesn't feel like the "right" thing to do, but with this coming up with multiple users now just trying to figure out options...

R2 pricing isn't tiered. It's:
$0.015 per GB after the first 10GB free
+
$4.50 per million class A operations (effectively writes) after the first 1 million free
+
$0.36 per million class B operations (effectively reads) after the first 10 million free

Hm interesting, probably haven't setup cache if it's not by default. TTFB is fine on the site globally, it even happens locally

I've never seen it marked as the same pricing. I've always seen it priced as $4.50 for the first 1M class A operations, so if you do 1 or 1,000,000, it's the same

It is never explicitly said that the pricing is the same, but it is what it makes people understand. In the documentation, both pricing tables are the same. There is no mention of the tiered pricing. And everywhere it is said that Cache Reverse is just something on top of R2, meaning it is just R2 with some custom logic, which people won't expect to cost more.

to not have the "Monthly Quotas" and for the documentation pricing I added an issue on github to move the information about the operations being rounded up to the next million from the examples to the table. https://github.com/cloudflare/cloudflare-docs/issues/11569
