Hey guys, presenting you my very compact design of the MFG pedals FFB conversion kit prototype!
My goal was to realize it with as few parts and as few modifications to the pedals as possible, and I think I've managed to achieve this goal. 🀘
  • It's built from two main 3D printed parts: the 71T gear (which attaches to existing holes where the cam sits) and the "tower" which holds the 86BLF motor with electronics and wiring inside.
  • HTD5M 400 belt
  • Gear ratio is 71T/15T (1:4.7), will experiment with a 14T pulley too, should achieve 1:5.
  • It completely bypasses the MFG electronics and toe brakes connect directly to the VPforce FFB board.
  • Only 4 3.5mm holes for self tapping screws need to be drilled into the MFG pedals base to hold the "tower"
Now what's left is to decide how to release it. I'll make it an open design, so you can print it and make it yourself with an additional option to buy an augmented kit for the 86BLF04 motor with the necessary parts (such as pulleys, belts, connectors and optionally pre-made 3D prints)

Thanks to @William Oakes for his model of the MFG pedals to build on!
