How to wear velvet trousers?
I have a pair of gray and a pair of olive velvet trousers that I have never worn, and I don't really know much about fashion. I just want to style them half-decently so I can finally wear them.
I also planned to buy a pair of triple black Air Max 90's because during the summer I was wearing a pair of blue/white Pegasus 39's and now it's just too cold to wear them.

velvet pants are definitely a statement fabric, you probably want to keep the rest fairly simple. If it were me, black or white slim T shirt tucked in with brown boots and a brown belt for either pair.
I was going to wear them during winter because they are quite warm, can I just replace the t-shirt with a long sleeve shirt?
Because I'm not sure how I would wear a t-shirt with a jacket or something else

A retro colorway of the 90 would work better, or 550 or mexico 66
I get that but, what about the rest (shirt, belt, jacket, etc.)
