Aget something thats almost too good for you now, then as it ages it will slowly get worse and at some point youll need to replace it
Pbut yeah given Apple tends to support Macs for 6-8 years (or longer in some cases), i'd be happy with that upgrade cycle

Llinux for actual work, macos for testing
Pnow combine my laptop and my PC into one device, and i can just about justify the pricetag

Li use my laptop so i can do gamedev at the park since going outside is nice and thats basically all i use it for, since the only game i work on right now is 100% Zig, i dont need a beefy CPU to compile everything
Psee if I had an AS MB I probably would do that as well
