Tfstab? not a full replacement but GNOME Disks and KDE partition manager can do a lot of things fstab does
Kfstab is how you mount drives, nothing will prevent that from being needed for a permanent drive
Mand I prefer to not fuck with anything further. if I have to click to mount a drive that is already working as intended. I have a slow brain for this and some scary shit forces me to postpone things for months.
