Hi expected as much and i just have a symlink just in case (mainly because of my own weird emudeck setup incase i forgot to fix some of my symlinks)
TGNOME doesn't do anything with
$HOME/Desktopwell by default
Ti'm sure there's a way to make it use it, I just never looked
Myeah the install just downloads a desktop files which opens the install
Amaybe i should have asked this another way: is there a live steamdeck image, where i can try bazzite before i flash it?
Hyou can test it with an ssd over usb, but you can run into issues with that
Hnot recommended though but its how i tested it on my main system since i had a lot of stuff to prep on the system before moving over

Tbut yeah silverblue/kinoite do not have a live environment so we don't either
Hcant really properly test the deck image in a VM without gpu passthrough sadly

WIs there a way to factory reset Bazzite? I googled and checked the FAQ and couldn't find anything.
Kthere's no one click factory reset
Ka new user account removes most things you'd customize, and then there's ostree itself making your changes there easy to undo

Lits not very clear whats wrong with it from the error but it gets to the loading screen then hangs, repeating this error every 60 seconds
Leveryone on protondb says dxvk is what they use but maybe thats not working for me? not sure
