Basically, always use 0 unless there's a bad update, then revert to 1 until it is fixed

I also remember that CachyOS ships some audio realtime rules for this, you can also experiment with that @saberj2x :

Question -- Every other time I reboot bazzite-nvidia on desktop, there is no network connection. Restarting the NetworkManager seems to fix it. The NetworkManager service is often inactive. I am not -super- experienced with linux, so not sure if I'm doing something that's contributing to this behavior and can avoid, any any suggestions would be appreciated.

But in game plays well, and turning off smt and tweaks didn't do anything.

The tweaks DID help in horizon zero dawn at least.

@saberj2x this is something that is probably not what is happening, but I had this case:

I had Intel Pentium E5700 which degraded so badly, it outputted CSGO at 20fps in 240p resolution (perception is 1fps slideshow stutter mess)
And it run at full frequencies, 3GHz, Performance power plan, all looking good on paper
