HI've been daily driving it for about a week. Like Kyle said there's a few small things here and there but overall the experience is good.

HPs even though it supports secure boot if you forget to do it during install it borks the install if you forget the step. It's easier to just disable secure boot in bios.
HIMO it's better. ChimeraOS is still running an unstable build. I also wasn't able to get chimera to output to my Bluetooth ear buds so that was a deal breaker for me. I wanted something I can set up run a game and play it with as little hassle as possible. Bazzite did that for me.
HI also like that bazzite has the set up toggles so it auto downloaded decky, emudeck, chrome and will boot right into gaming mode. I wanted a steamos experience on my LLG and again bazzite gave me the experience I was looking for.

HYou're welcome. I would recommend keeping a small section for windows for firmware updates and bios updates.
MI'll keep the 512 for windows and swap out if there's any major bios updates

Kmy position is that we'll never ship it, it fails to follow proper practices for wine prefixes
Kmy recomendation is you use lutris or bottles if the former can't handle your use case
Kthat being said if you want to install it it should work

I'm using it now and it worked great added Rockstar, ubisoft, gog, epic, humble, ea, Netflix, and Hulu. I like that it's very hands off. Just run it and it runs it all and adds it all to steam for game mode integration.

Kthis means if one game has dependencies that disagree with another you'll break games by installing a new one
Kand worse, if you install something that breaks your prefix you break every game you've installed

Keach game should have it's own prefix, that's how steam, lutris, bottles, and every other wine prefix manager functions
