[SOLVED] Capture cards
Hey guys,
Looking into buying a capture card so I can use my camcorder on my PC, and I noticed a massive contrast in price between the stuff Elgato sells and the random Chinese sellers on Amazon. What are the drawbacks of using these cheap ones, if any?
Also please tell me if these two do in fact let me use my camcorder with them:

Yes, the cheap stuff usually has terrible image quality. I have used a lot of the cheap ones in the hope of finding a good alternative but the elgato one is still miles ahead
But recording directly in the camera is better for the quality in 90% of the cases
