BI assume that average is on the units currently shipped and the time since pre-ordered, the length of that cue blew up as some word of mouth really got out in May and after.

BIve moved up almost a hundred units, but it's been very stable since this summer so I guess those ahead of me are for now still in it for the long haul.

BThink my first estimates was early q1 2026 so it is at least shrinking
TThat's 3 more than yesterday. My regression model says that tomorrow 8 rhinos will be shipped, then 11 and so on. The queue should be clear in a few weeks. But I don't know what happens then, maybe walmis will start sending them to random people for free...
FIt seems like helicopters, (at least, apache in dcs) apply a shaking effect when transitioning from hover to forward flight. Anybody have an idea wether this is intentional or no and how I could disable it?
TAerodynamic effect called translation. Look it up, all whirly birds do it.

NYes, it is intentional as part of the "Effective Translational Lift" effect, as Kiwi said. If you want to adjust the intensity or onset characteristics, look at the following in the config for the Apache (or any other aircraft)
Note that all of the default effect settings are based on the Rhino with the periodic effects slider in VPf Configurator set at %50

PIf flying helis in dcs don't get tricked by the setting called something like "No springs & force feedback" it's for no springs & no force feedback, it's got a few ppl so far, needs to be renamed

DI've just set up my Rhino on my DOF Reality H6 motion platform, and I needed an extension to bring it nearer without making it too much taller. Nothing seemed to fit the bill so I contacted Q4Rigs who 3D print them, and I'd previously bought one from them for my Virpil and I liked the quality. I sent them an email and they promptly printed a "special" for me, with a 50mm rearward extension and a 108mm lift. It arrived today and I've just fitted it and it's perfect for my setup.

BHave been eyeing a system of theirs for swapping throttles.
MI can second their great service. Asked them for a custom setup on a not-theirs discord, had the product in hand less than a week later, including UK-US shipping
DI have a simpler quick change system on my motion platform, I have steel plates either side and in front of the seat, and all of my throttles, gearlevers, and joysticks have powerful neodym magnets underneath. I just drop them in place, and the magnetism is just strong enough to hold them firmly, yet easily removable when fully twisted sideways. Here's the underneath of the Rhino with the magnets fitted through the existing four corner holes. I also reinforced the base with a 6mm plywood base plate. The corners are otheriwse a bit vulnerable because of the "dovetail" slots where they interlock with the sides.
Jyes, but coming from the virpil mongoos cm2 base with the 200mm extension, I found that it was way too tall. Plus the range of motion of the Rhino is much bigger than the cm2, so I added the 15/15 physical limiter plates. I ended up going with the virpil z-extension and the height of that combined with the Rhino is pretty close to the cm2 and 200mm extension, plus the extension moved the grip closer to me.
IWhere do I get the limiter 15/15 plates? I find the range of motion too much on the Rhino

IDoes the Rhino made stick forces stiffer when the speed of the airplane increases?

NDCS and IL2 have native FFB implementation which handles all of the dynamic stick forces. That specific functionality however is implemented in most or all of the warbird type aircraft for DCS.
FTelemffb should add it for most aircraft in dcs
