will the future only include 1 flathub remote? like will bazzite ship with only user or only system? only ask because i install most of my applications with the user remote remote as opposed to the system, and i dont think this will happen but if for some reason one of the Flathub remotes are removed in favor of one or the other, which one should I install my applications from since both system and remote are shipped. I see the system flathub remote is specifically for the preinstalled applications

Is XHCI not supposed to work anymore with the DRD patch? Tried to dock while using XHCI but had to change to DRD to work

Hmm, i don't know if this makes sense for the deck. Maybe? A method for a single gpu passthrough to a vm? It does disable the gpu on the host, but if you're dealing with a single (or two) hardware sets like the Deck is the IOMMU groups might not be hugely onerous. Could maybe be a neat way to allow windows vm gaming on a deck without dual booting?

Being an APU it's probably difficult or impossible to split it up in a way that will work for this

splitting up the APU might be possible? But it's already a pretty limited system so any performance losses would likely be profound

I'll probably go with pinning 6 of the cores to be a cpu, 1 for the vm, 1 for IO handling. As long as it wants to behave and have the graphics side of things disconnect and reconnect without a hassle, passing through almost everything else shouldn't be too crazy. It is usually the GPU side of things that gives me a hassle with passthrough. I might even just pass through the wifi if that will also behave so I don't need to deal with linux wifi schnanigans through a windows environment.

Of course, this is all if it will work right in the first place lol. Step one is get a basic vm up and poke around.
