Hhavent really checked at the deck itself but i dont think passing through the apu will work well. not sure how the iommu layout even is on the deck.

from my experience some amdgpus require you to passthrough a dumped version of the vbios rom too, which i dont think the apu has?
can easily find the path for the ROM to dump though using my ls-iommu tool by doing

THi Varis, I need to install Coolercontrol to manage my Kraken X63 and I am investigating what would be the best approach. Flatpak has been abandoned but you say you layered it with rpm-ostree with us being immutable did you manage to load the systemd unit and have it always load on boot? also does it cause any problems when updating? The other option is 2 appimages one for systemd and the other for the app but I'm not sure if the systemd one can be made persistent to always load on boot. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated

rpm-ostree installfantastic thank you for the file! I also finally found the repo from the official readme, it was well hidden for some reason they kept insisting on us using a bash script to configure it which obviously doesn't work with Silverblue.
VThe file from the readme has some hardcoded versions and will stop working with a next fedora release. I changed them to be dynamic. You can compare them to see the difference

TOK so I learned that if you want to add a custom repository to Silverblue/Bazzite you need a special configuration .rpm file and then you just do "rpm-ostree install..." . If the repository doesn't have that special .rpm then you need to create your own .repo file inside "/etc/yum.repos.d". As for gpg keys you just copy them to "/etc/pki/rpm-gpg/" and point your .repo file to your key. - just leaving this in here for other noobs like me

BHello everyone, I mean I can perfectly stay on :latest but still I want to ask. On my PC If I rebase to :testing or :unstable I‘ve been met with an error in Grub that I need to load the Kernel first. Someone here who had this issue too?
MYou probably have to disable secure boot in your BIOS
BAh those branches doesnt support secure Boot? I can confirm that secure Boot is indeed turned on 
MYeah fsync kernel, which is now used on testing and unstable, requires secure boot to be disabled in order to work properly.
Ksecure boot OOTB is a non-starter for custom kernels
Krequires user intervention to work, which is why it's only on testing atm

TUntil explixit sync is merged into Xwayland it’s much worse
TAlso there is explicit sync patches for mutter
TUntil all of that is released 545 is just bad for Wayland
