Alan Wake 2: "The game failed to connect or authenticate with your Epic account"
When I start Alan Wake 2:
- I first get a pop-up about my graphic card not supporting mesh shaders
- I click OK
- The game starts to load (I see the R logo)
- Then a second text window pops-up with the following message:
The window has a Quit button. If I don't click it, nothing happens (the game does not load further).
I tried to log out and log in again: no changes. Is there a way to "temporarily disable third-party overlays"

I'm playing on ArchLinux. Note that I copied the game from another computer, see Copy game from one computer to another.
