CPU Time is time the CPU is actively doing something, generating html, deserializing a json response, etc. Waiting on i/o like fetch requests, etc, doesn't consume any cpu time

Functions even on Custom Domains run on the pages.dev, you essentially have two layers of cache
CustomDomain.com -> Cache -> Pages Functions -> Cache
You know you're getting hits based on log/output (you should also be able to see the age header), you can ignore the header being overriden by the custom domain cache, or you could use a cache rule on your zone to use the custom domain cache instead. Just be careful with what you're caching

If i remove the waitUntil line it completes immediately. If i add it back in, it seems to wait for my long running async function to complete before returning a response. And this is for a deployed worker, not running locally

Hi All, I'm curious if I am doing something wrong. I'm trying to follow these instructions for D1, but I don't see D1 database bindings in that menu "Settings > Functions > D1 Database. https://developers.cloudflare.com/pages/functions/bindings/ It seems to be the only one that is missing in my pages settings>functions.

You can’t go over it, you can only try and reduce the size of your Functions bundle.

Hey guys, I am migrating websites to cloudflare that utilise the same API keys, for example for a transactional email service. Is there a way to set an API key across multiple projects just like Netlify does with global environment variables? Without global environment variables if a key expires for any reason I need to go and set it on up to 50 separate websites.

I am utilising wrangler to test and debug my functions locally:
