Hthink the majority of people who viritualize on bazzite uses qemu since it requires no extra modules.
vmware requires custom kernel modules from what i remember which means you will have to make your own image.
and as with anything that requires custom kernel modules, there is always the risk that a kernel update might break it at random.

JThere are Budgie versions of ublue, but not bazzite. They would be the ublue-os/onyx images.
PBut you need to restart the PC every time to use the dedicated GPU on the host
