EI didn't notice the issue after install till I paired the second switch controller we have purchased own me and GF BUT when the issue is occurring only 1 is powered up. I tried uprising all only adding one but bug is still there
ECauses duplicate inputs into everything os, games makes it unusable
Hoh so maybe the issue only happens if you have 2 switch controllers paired?, its somewhere to start at least
EMy stadia controller works fine but causes the Bluetooth to crash completely after about 10 mins at least on chimeraos

EI installed bazzite today I didn't notice issue for about 4 reboots and until I had paired the second controller but not 100% without starting again to test

EIn bluetooth it correctly shows one on and one not connected so it's definitely not see 2 actual controllers
EAlso turning off the one your using and back on makes the duplicate disappear I can record the issue if that'd help

Hswitch mode only, but you can put it in switch mode with the 2.4ghz dongle if you use a beta firmware that 8bitdo accidentally gave out and promptly removed because it had some issues they didnt like (like it turns off the controller when switching from xinput to switch input)

EEasiest solution I think would be to buy a 8bit and use via 2.4ghz but rather use controllers I have and hold put on buying a new one in hope valve make a new steam controller

EI'm willing to bet my issue is something to do with pairing 2 but I'd have to do a full new install to test that theory as if it is causing it seems unpairing one isn't enough to fix 
EI've tried googling if another else has my issue but only find people with issues in games with steam input and game natively seeing controller, I'm having issue with duplicate without even starting a game
Hwell considering you said restarting the controller fixed it, i wonder if its related to the odd gyro issues i have on "first boot" of the controller

EMaybe not sure it's duplicating all inputs like pressing a send a a if I have my controller set to not use nintendo layout it really shots itself as duplicate is still using nontendo layout so pressing a sends a amd b so you can't do anything as it accepts and presses back at same time 
Hyeah i definitively dont have that, tried switching the nintendo layout switch in the controller settings and see if that "corrects" it

ESwitches the nintendo layout back on doesn't fix issue just being duplicate buttons presses are same though
