BAre you talking about a particular hub? And -- where did you learn of this?
JIt was a sabrent branded hub. I had my hf8 seat, collective and joy plugged into the same hub. My stick kept disconnecting and windows finally said “not enough power”. Knowing there was more than enough to spare, I started googling. Turns out it was a firmware issue.
JI plug my joystick in, does it beep, centers, immediately beeps and goes dead.

MVIRPIL has a handy voltage readout in their software, telling you how much tension is applied to the device's USB. I wonder if there's anything like that in the configurator app for the Rhino (USB voltage readout)?
AI'm having some difficulty having my generic TM grip being detected, I've triple checked the wiring & the grip on another gimbal. Interestingly when I press certain buttons (1st stage detent on the trigger for example) I hear a slight buzzing from the mainboard as if something is shorting, but the connector or wiring are all isolated, anyone have any ideas?

Awhen booting up (with the grip connected) debug shows me this:

WIf you disconnect the grip it should be all FFs
Aso even with the connector disconnected from the mainboard, I get the same result from the debugger
WCan you check if the DATA line is shorting to GND somewhere?
Ain the connector it isn't, when the mainboard is unpowered it isn't, but when the mainboard is connected to usb (not psu) I do get a shot between DATA and GND
Athis may be my shitty multimeter, but when powered with usb I get continuity between GND and every pin in the grip connector?
WTry unpowering it, and check with the diode test mode with reverse polarity applied (red on GND)
WI get ~570mV on all three data pins

WYou should def get a reading. Try black on VCC and red on GND
AI get 2.7 on CK, 2,3 on CS, 0.01 on DI

RHowday! Was messing around with Rhino while I wait on replacement winwing adapter and the two times I had a chance to try it after about 10 minutes of playing DCS the Rhino disconnects then reconnects again (reported by windows usb device pop up). It stops responding to DCS ffb until I restart the game.
I’m running rhino through a usb hub, and I’m flying the f14 with telemFFB as well… any ideas for me to fix this tomorrow?

ADo you have a log? It would help if it’s getting to hot, motor current, magnetic encoder faults ect.
PIf I understood correctly, you are a developer of TelemFFB. Is it possible to implement a force trim function for FFB pedals via TelemFFB, since DCS only controls one FFB device? Similar to MSFS, where you can also activate the Force Trim function externally via TelemFFB.

WFirst thing I'd try is a direct connection to the PC without the hub
AThe dynamic spring function for MSFS, does not seem to work for Rudder pedals. Flying from stall speed to Vne, i get the same spring tension. Spring gain is set to 100% in the configurator and the potmeters are disabled.
RIf I want to log while I'm testing this, do I just do "log data" from the debug tab?
Rdo I need to leave it enabled or can I export after the fact?
LSo, I’m having a similar issue: turn everything on, go into DCS, joystick centers. If I alt tab and somehow open the teleffb windows, the stick goes limp. There’s still effects going on (like when rolling on tarmac), but no more centering. And I haven’t been able to get it going in game when it happens, like a reset. Rather, a full pc restart is required :/
